Ski Weekend : On the Piste, On the Cheap Host: dangerless sports club Type: Trips - Road Trip Network: Global Start Time: Thursday, 25 February 2010 at 19:00 End Time: Sunday, 28 February 2010 at 22:00 Location: The Alps Back to basics DASC old-style recession-busting road trip time! The classic DASC format - we pile in a minibus, drive half way across Europe, do some sporty stuff and then drink a lot of wine...only this time its not a 30-second bungy, but 2.5 days of skiing and snowboarding which forms the 'excuse'. Here's the deal: If we get 6 people, its going to cost £140 each If we get 10 people, its going to cost £100 each If we get 15 people, its going to cost £75 each This will cover all the travel and accommodation. Sign up early and get a lift pass thrown in and we can also lend some ski gear...the more people, the more freebies to early sign-ups (at the Chicken's discretion of course!). Simples. Where? We'll check the snow-reports before departure and go to the resort with the best snow. How? Minibus and ferry, staying in a hotel 2 nights (shared rooms...obviously at this price!) What? Ski/Board Friday and Saturday and a half-day for the keen on Sunday. What's not included? Official uniformed tour guide. Food. Drink. Lift Passes or Ski Hire (subject to exceptions noted above!). We will of course assist by delivering you to the rental shop, bar, supermarket and ski lifts...and the hotel I suppose. But its basically a come along and join in deal here. Make of the trip what you want...we're here to have fun!
